This is a TTRPG designed to mimic systems such as Dungeons and Dragons, Savage Worlds, and many other TTRPGs in a way that is easier to play, faster, and more realistic in terms of combat and strategy. The idea is based on the fact that many TTRPGs today allow you to add health and armour beyond that of any normal mortal, and thus I decided to take away the luxury of the "bullet sponge" and throw in a much more simplistic concept where health only allows for one or two serious wounds before you are probably going to die.
This started as a project when I was 14 before I had even played any TTRPGs, and I created a system then that I tested to death, and finished to a poinnt where it was playable with a regular group of 6. We met up regularly for 3 years while I made small edits and additions to the rules where they were needed. Count 7 years later, and I have finished my games design bachelors, and my Masters in Animation, and I decided that it was time I put my knowledge to good use while I am not currently employed. I am now over half way through designing this TTRPG on my own, and once it is finished, I want to release it for free (with donations) as a fully accessable game for all to play.
I have spent countless hours perfecting this system, so please have a look if you have the time, and see what I can do!
Follow this link to see the miro board myself and my team used in GGJ 2024. In this project, I was the designer with some 2d animation work. The game can be played here: https://rubysnax.itch.io/run-rabbit-run
This was a project based on the theme "make me laugh". The ideas we had were initially to do a "reverse horror" game where we would take all elements that make horror games scary and intense, and flip them to make them comedic and silly. We decided to use Unity as our platform of choice as our programmer had much more experience in that than any other engine and with the event being 48 hours, we wanted to play to our strengths.
The project had a rocky start as we began with a team of 5, but after 9 hours of planning and not being able to contact this extra programmer, they left the group without a word leaving us down a programmer, and 9 hours of discussion and planning down the drain. We decided to take it in our stride, adjust the scope to something easier for a team of 4, and start again. That is where this design document began. We ended up with a completed game with all but one of our main features implemented. We were hoping to add in additional enemies, however due to the time constraint, we decided this was less important than having the more comedic "boss enemy" in the game.
Please feel free to have a play of this 1-2 minute game and leave a comment on how you think we did!
2D Artwork:
Here you will find 2D artwork I have made for TTRPG campaigns I have played.
The background is not original artwork, but an edit I made using photoshop. The alien is from this bachground and is not my work either. These were all made in photoshop. Some of the artwork is traced as to get accurate proportions and shading. This was my first time ever completing commisioned artwork.

This is artwork I did of my most recent campaign putting my skills into practice to create a unique character bassed off of the weequay from Star Wars. This was my first time completing 2D art without tracing any of the character elements.
