Cinematic Sequence, scene 1

Felling - Unseen Galaxy

A cinematic sequence which is currently in development using Motion Capture cleaned up in MotionBuilder. This sequence is part of my summer 2023 showreel which can be seen on the "showreel" page of this website.

This is scene 1 of 4, and is not the final version due to the models and environments being under non-disclosure.

Dink studio's first published game, Felling. A game about a chameleon making his way through a dangerous wilderness to survive, only to find that we, the humans, are actually the biggest threat. I was the character rigger, and character animator for Cliff the Chameleon. This game was published in Febuary 2023 by Unseen Galaxy on itch.io.

2022 Showreel

Full showreel of my cinematic animations from 2022. For an up-to-date showreel, please look at the "showreel" page on this website. These consist of my Computer Games Design Bachelors final year project which was a replication of a cutscene from Bauldurs Gate 3, and 2 cutscenes from the indie game Dutch Maximus: Out of the toybox, which was part of UK Tranzfuser 2022. Collaborative Group Project

This is a showreel consisting of 6 weeks of animation and rigging work that I completed as the in-game, technical, and cinematic animator of Team 7. (https://gamerjames.itch.io/co-optographers)
Many of these animations were not used in the final game due to changes in mechanics, and time constraints. The samurai animations were not polished due to thegame they were to be used for not being the one taken forwards.

 

Co-optographers

This is a game made for my final year group project. this is where the animations form the "collaborative group project" showreel were used. For this I was the senior and only animator. I was also involved in game design.

Older Projects

Azri Punch

This was a short project to demonstrate weight distribution for a karate style punch. The goal was to showcase how weight in the body shifts when punching.

Summer Project

This is a showcase of work from a project called "Summer bootcamp 2021" where after covid restrictions were lifted, students who were concerned about not making it into third year could gain extra credit by making a game in a week-long games jam style. For this project I was the lead and only animator.

Community Of Very Involuntary Drops

This is a game made for the 2021 Global games Jam. For this project, I was the Senior animator I was also involved in Level design, Environment art, and game design. This was my third Games Jam.

Motion Capture Enhancement

This was a week long project where the goal was to clean up a piece of motion capture footage. The footage was given to me raw, and I had to remove unnessecarry assets, cameras, and bones, and clean up the animation piece by piece using animation layers.

Junker

This is a game made for the 2020 Global games Jam. For this project, I was the Senior animator and Game designer. This was my second Games Jam.

No Longer Home

This is a game made for the 2019 Global Games Jam. For this project, I was the environment artist and level designer. This was my first global Games Jam.
